What are Guided Visualisations
Visualisations create imagery that help you harness all your senses – sight, taste, sound, smell, feelings and sensation. However, many people find it difficult to achieve this by themselves, and find it helpful to be guided through this sensory journey.
Used regularly, guided visualisations can enable you to achieve personal or professional dreams and goals. By immersing yourself in every detail of your desired outcome, you can change the neural pathways in the brain and focus the subconscious mind on exactly what you want. Have you ever decided to buy a particular make of car, and then found that you start to see that model everywhere? This is because your subconscious mind has focused in on it and highlighted it as something of interest to you.
Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between what is real and what is imagined, so by listening to guided visualisations, you trick the mind into thinking your desires are already being achieved. The essence is that if you can see it and you can feel it, you can become it.
As well as this, they are also a great way to relax and rejuvenate. There are a variety of physical health benefits to listening, including a lowering of blood pressure and the level of stress hormones in the blood. You will also get in touch with your intuition and find answers to questions you may have been struggling with in the conscious mind.
How to use the recordings
Each recording is approximately 15 to 20 minutes long and it is important that you are able to close your eyes and relax somewhere where you won’t be disturbed.
Ideally listen to the recording daily for the first week or two and then once or twice a week thereafter.
